To maintain the dwelling’s hygiene and cleanliness, it is essential to clean it when unoccupied after winter use (late March to early April). If fleas become a problem, organic Pyrethrum powders suitable for birds should be used to treat the dwelling. Avoid using dog and cat treatments as they can be too strong and may cause harm to hedgehogs.
